Buckle up for a ride in the world’s smallest travelling casino!
Take a trip around the world with Grosvenor Casino’s new casino cab. This experience is said to be the smallest travelling casino in the world! Grosvenor decided to launch the casino cab in an effort to promote the brand’s online gambling options as well as brick and mortar casinos. Londoners will be able to experience a unique gaming experience on the go thanks to the travelling casino cab.
To catch a ride in the gaming cab, Londoners were asked to log on to Twitter and request a ride via a tweet. You could only do this on the official Grosvenor Casino Twitter account. Each passenger was asked to choose between a free trip to a Grosvenor property or a random free ride to an unspecified location. The only cost was a donation given to the Carers Trust, which is one of the charities supported by Grosvenor.
The dealer in the car taught the passengers a few casino games and each passenger was provided with a tablet for online gambling. The cab is stocked with a wet bar and a few televisions to entertain passengers as well as keep them up to date with what is currently going on in the sports world.
The first cab ride was on the first of June and passengers were accompanied by Phil Tufnell, a former cricketer from England. This all forms part of a larger marketing campaign and the main goal is to boost awareness of the sports betting operations on offer at Grosvenor’s this coming summer. Grosvenor Casinos are owned by the Rank Group who had partnered up with Kambi Sports Solutions earlier this year to create a new sports book for online bets.
If you’re sceptical, you should check out Grosvenor Casinos social sites to view the footage of what this unique cab has to offer. The cab is set to go on a 3-week road trip to Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. Keep your eye on the casino’s social media for more information!
